A business that had outgrown its technology
One Friday is a vertically integrated fashion brand — designing in-house, manufacturing, and selling across retail, wholesale and e-commerce simultaneously. That’s a genuinely complex operation, and the software they had simply wasn’t built for it.
Their legacy client-server ERP systems required constant maintenance, threw up frequent bugs, and didn’t cover the full scope of what the business actually needed. Large parts of the workflow — design coordination, inventory tracking, reporting — had defaulted back to Excel. The result was a patchwork of tools that didn’t talk to each other, and a team spending too much time managing systems instead of growing the business.
- Bug-prone ERP systems demanding constant IT attention
- No single view across design, manufacturing and sales
- Heavy reliance on Excel for processes the software couldn't handle
- Retail, wholesale and e-commerce running as separate silos
- No integration between physical stores and the online business
One platform for the whole operation
One Friday implemented three integrated Axind products — PLM+ for product development, OMNI for catalogue and inventory, and WebTnA for production timelines. The goal was simple: one system, everything connected, no more juggling.
As a cloud-based SaaS solution, the maintenance burden that had weighed on their previous setup disappeared entirely. The team could focus on the work rather than the infrastructure.
- Axind PLM+ managing the full concept-to-production flow — design, sampling, specs and supplier collaboration
- Axind OMNI giving one unified catalogue and inventory view across retail, wholesale and e-commerce
- Axind WebTnA keeping production timelines on track from first TnA to final delivery
- Native integration with One Friday's own website and major e-commerce platforms
- SaaS deployment — no servers, no maintenance overhead
"In terms of integration, in terms of the process of manufacturing, merchandising, designing and sampling — all of that coming together just makes it a lot more efficient as an organization. Otherwise, I would have to integrate maybe three or four different tools. Luckily, with Axind, I can do it all on one single platform."

Before Axind
- Multiple ERPs with frequent bugs
- Excel filling the gaps the ERP couldn't
- Separate inventory per sales channel
- Design, manufacturing & sales in silos
- No e-commerce integration
- High IT maintenance overhead
After Axind
- PLM+, OMNI & WebTnA in one connected suite
- End-to-end workflow in a single system
- One catalogue & inventory across all channels
- Design through to delivery, fully connected
- Native website & e-commerce integration
- SaaS — minimal maintenance, no servers
One platform. Every process. Ready to scale.
Today One Friday’s entire operation — from the first sketch in Milano to the last customer delivery — runs within the Axind suite. Design, manufacturing, retail, wholesale and e-commerce are all connected in one system, and the business can grow without adding operational complexity.

"I would definitely recommend it. For retailers who are also manufacturers and who are also designing in-house — if it brings everything together on one platform seamlessly, it saves a lot of time and effort and you don't have to run off in different directions. A lot of things are provided within the software. So all of it is quite nicely packaged into one solution."
