The Challenge
An easy-to-use software solution
One Friday used to use client-server ERP systems with many bugs. They would then spend a lot of time and effort to maintain the system. In addition, their existing software did not include many of the processes they needed, and so a lot of work had to be done manually via Excel®.
The problems with this setup were that there was a disproportionate amount of manual work and that there was a profound lack of consolidated information. The inefficient processes in place could not continue for much longer.

To keep up with their workflow, One Friday needed a software solution that could handle all the processes their company required. It would have to manage all aspects of the design process, continue on to manufacturing and ultimately help them manage and keep track of their sales. This included the ability to be integrated with their own website and popular e-commerce platforms.
Their many disparate software systems (or lack thereof) would have to be consolidated into one integrated software system, saving them time, effort and money.
In terms of integration, in terms of the process of manufacturing, merchandising and the designing and the sampling, all of that coming together, it just makes it a lot more efficient as an organization. Otherwise, I would have to integrate maybe three or four different tools. Luckily, with Axind, I can do it all on one single platform.
I would definitely recommend it to other people because I feel that for retailers who are also manufacturers and who are also designing in house and manufacturing and the whole process, if it’s bringing everything together on one platform seamlessly, it just happens to save a lot of time and effort, and you don’t have to run off in different directions with different tools and integration and so on. A lot of things are provided within the software (…) So all of it is quite nicely packaged into one solution.
